Who Are We?

Greasbrough United Church is a Local Ecumenical Partnership.  In September 2003 two separate churches, Greasbrough Methodist Church and Masbro’ Chapel & Greasbrough United Reformed Church, joined together to form a united church.

The church serves the communities of Greasbrough, Munsbrough, Rockingham and Wingfield.

The church, having been two separate churches, is a united congregation, with a strong sense of family love.  We have a positive attitude towards worship and prayer.

Sunday services are led by our Minister (Rev Simon Copley), visiting preachers or members of our own church.

The church has a long history dating back to the 18th century.  Although we acknowledge and celebrate the mission and witness of those who have gone before us, we also live in the present and have a strong desire to work to achieve the Lord’s will today and for the future.
